Library Technology Internship Resources

Intern scanning documentsDVC’s Library Technology program prepares students for careers in libraries and library-related settings. A central piece of our curriculum is a required two-unit fieldwork internship. Library Technology students must complete the internship after their first term and will need to sign up for LT-295 or LT-296 Occupational Work Experience Education. It is the Library Technology student’s responsibility to locate and arrange for an internship opportunity. The links below will assist students to understand what is required, identify internship opportunities, and share relevant information with potential intern supervisors.
