The DVC communications and marketing office is charged with the task of cultivating and maintaining the outward facing brand and reputation of Diablo Valley College to current and prospective students, and to the community we serve. We are also here to support faculty and staff with marketing and other communication needs as our capacity permits.
Our graphic designer creates engaging DVC branded artwork and images for posters, brochures, postcards, and other projects. Review our guidelines to see how we can help and to submit your project request.
Our web administrator can help you with a website update, training, access to your area pages, etc. Please submit your request for help.
The communications and marketing office can help you to share important information, deadlines or an event. Find out how to enter information though the DVC calendar, social media, the student email newsletter, and more.
Help us to ensure the DVC brand is consistent. Before updating your webpage, creating a new flyer, or updating or creating a publication, please review our style guide and use the official logo and color palettes in your next project.
Review our process and policies to order new or re-order your current business cards.
The communications and marketing office compiles a monthly email newsletter to our students. See if your upcoming event meets our SUCCESS at DVC guidelines and submit your entry request.
The communications and marketing office uses original, campus photography for brochures, publications, and on the website to the extent possible. We unfortunately do not have a photographer available to take photos of your event or activity unless the photos will be needed for our production. We do have a camera available to loan if you require photos and do not have a camera. Photo release forms are required for photographs of students.
We are a small office and we can't always fulfill all requests at all times. Our priority is to serve students and the college as a whole first before individual programs and departments.
