Keynote speaker

HT Tran keynote speakerHT Tran was born in California to South Vietnamese nationals who immigrated to the US in the late 1970’s. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from San Jose State University and then enlisted in the US Army in 2006. He was assigned to Anvil Company of the 10th Mountain Division and was deployed to the Iraq War. Two years later, Tran was severely injured by an IED, costing him his right eye and leaving him with a titanium rod in his left leg and multiple scars across his body.

During his recovery, Tran received the support of Sentinels of Freedom, a non-profit that helps wounded veterans transition to successful careers.
