Math Lab

Math LabThe Math Lab is now offering online tutoring using Zoom, which has been a wonderful tool that has allowed us to maintain the quality of our math tutoring and student support services offered by our own tutors. There are two options of math tutoring: drop-in tutoring and by appointment online tutoring.

  • Drop-in helps students in Zoom breakout rooms one-on-one or in small groups when students have the same class and they agree to be with other students.
  • By appointment students come to the Math Lab Zoom Room and ask for an appointment to the host, Liling or Dora, who will see tutors' availability.

For questions:

STEM Supplemental Instruction

STEM student testimonialThe  STEM Supplemental Instruction (SI ) program will now run through Zoom every Friday. We run peer-led study group workshops for math and chemistry courses focused on the types of problems you are encountering each week in your class. Instructors work with the SI team to make sure students get the support they need that week. You're welcome to ask the most basic to the most advanced questions. The more you explore your class content with your peers the more things will start to click.
