DVC has a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship winner this year! The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation provides the largest private scholarship in the country to high-achieving community college students who have financial need.

Northern California Forensics Association first place overall champions

Over the last three years the DVC's speech and debate team (also known as forensics) has become the most dominant team in northern California. Recently the 40+ person team won their third consecutive NCFA Championship, crowning DVC the undisputed champions of NorCal.
