San Ramon Campus - Academic Proctoring/Make-up Testing

Academic Proctoring at the San Ramon Campus (SRC) is designed to be used by students who miss an exam due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, family emergency, school event, etc).  Please avoid sending large numbers of students on the same date and time. -

Appointments are required at the San Ramon Campus (SRC). SRC does not have a designated proctoring center or staff, so students and faculty should plan ahead to ensure that the exam can be completed during the scheduled hours.  Students can schedule an appointment at SRCProctoring@dvc.edu at least 48 hrs. prior to the time they would like to test. Please note that SRC is not open on Fridays so please plan accordingly.

Testing Information

Student Information

  • View the SRC testing hours below.
  • Schedule an appointment for the day/time most convenient for student at SRCProctoring@dvc.edu
  • Appointment should be scheduled at least 48hrs before test date. Appointment request should contain the following info.:
    • Student Name, Student Email/Ph#., Student ID#
    • Instructor Name, Course Name, Course Day/Time
    • Date to take the test 
  • Students must arrive 10 minutes prior to their test time to check-in (i.e. 9 am  test time, student must arrive at 8:50 am).  If students arrive after the test start time they will need to schedule a new date to take the test. 
  • A physical photo ID (driver's license, passport, ID card) is required to take a test.  We will not honor a photo of the ID.  Testing cannot take place without photo ID.
  • Students must have all necessary tools needed for the test (i.e. calculator, scantron, notes, etc.).

SRC Faculty Test Submissions

Faculty Test Pickup Hours are

  • Monday - Thursday from 9 am - 5 pm  from Ann Uawithya at the Welcome Desk, or
  • Tests can be emailed to the faculty member

Location

Academic Proctoring check-in at SRC is located at the Welcome Desk/Front Counter of the Administration Building (across from Admissions & Records).  Students will check-in with Ann Uawithya or Sudha Cadpakar.  Once students complete the check-in they will be escorted to the testing center. 

Testing Hours 

Appointment Schedule - Students can work with their instructor to determine the make-up test  deadline. Students can then select the day/time that works best with their schedule. Students need to check-in for their test at the Welcome Desk in the Administration Building Lobby 10 min. prior to start time (Don't forget photo ID).
