First Time + Full Time = Free Tuition (FT3)

The FT3 program is for up to two academic years.  Fall start students can receive up to four consecutive primary terms of free tuition. Spring start students can receive up to three consecutive primary terms of free tuition. Summer is not included in the FT3 program.

As part of our College Promise effort, DVC is offering the First Time + Full Time = Free Tuition (FT3) program. By completing at least 12 units, with a minimum 2.0 GPA you could receive a refund of your tuition!

Here's how it works:

• Be a first-time college student
• Complete a quick FT3 Pledge  - Pledge deadline for fall is November 1 and for spring is April 1
  
• Submit a Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Act Application for each academic year in the program
• Complete a minimum of 12 units for the term with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Be a California resident or otherwise exempt from paying non-resident tuition fees (e.g. AB540)
• Receive a refund of your tuition fees!

Once you have successfully completed a term, we will automatically enroll you in the program again for the next primary term  (and so on).  When you complete 12 units with a 2.0 GPA again, you will earn another refund of your tuition fees. It's that easy to receive free tuition for up to two academic years with us!
