Rosemary Henze's Just a Piece of Cloth

Join us in celebrating women's history month with a screening of Just a Piece of Cloth, a documentary about four Muslim American women from the Bay Area whose choice to wear the hijab sparked debate but also provided an opportunity for education. The half-hour screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with director Rosemary Henze. As Henze notes, "these stories are not only about Muslim women; they are about all of us and the power of our voices and stories to confront stereotypes about 'the Other'."

You Can't Take It With You

You Can't Take It With You

March 17 - April 2, 2017

Directed by Ryan Weible
Written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart

Meet the Sycamores – a madcap clan who sets the bar for eccentricity. When Alice brings her high society fiancé home to meet the parents, fireworks (figuratively and literally) nearly bring the house down. Despite their zany antics and unconventional ways, this tight-knit family offers hope that love and laughter lead to happiness, even in the hardest of times. George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s Pulitzer Prize winning comedy classic is as fresh, funny, and relevant as ever.
