Provide the dispatcher with your name, telephone call-back number, and location (including campus, building, and room number) and the following details:
- Nature of the incident
- Description and names (if known) of any involved person
- Last known direction of travel (when appropriate)
Remain on the line. Do not hang up until the dispatcher instructs you to do so.
Police Escort
Arrange for a police escort to and from classes on a first-call, first-served basis. Escorts are available to all students and staff. Call police services to arrange for an escort to meet on campus.

Silent Witness Tip Line
Speak up about any concerns or utilize the silent witness tip line to report anonymously. Students, faculty and staff can call 925-229-6464 to provide information without having to leave any personal information.

Lost & Found
DVC’s lost and found is located at Police Services. If you find an item on campus, please bring it to Police Services as soon as possible and no later than the end of the day. If you cannot deliver it, call Police Services to let staff know you have found property.
Turning in items promptly helps us reunite them with their owners, who may not know exactly when or where something was lost. Police Services logs and holds all found property according to required procedures.
