The Student ID card is your student photo ID. But it is much more than that. This card is also your library card, and much more.
You will use your DVC Connect card to use computer labs, receive counseling services, attend college events, and more. You may also add money to your card for printing in computer labs and libraries.
The Connect card is free to all students with a black and white photo. A color photo is available for $4.
A photo identification is required to obtain your student ID card. You must be enrolled in classes at least 48 hours before you will be able to obtain your student ID card.
Optional ASDVC Discount Sticker
The ASDVC discount sticker costs $10 per semester. The benefits of purchasing a sticker include:
- a five percent (5%) discount on textbooks and other items from the DVC Book Center
- free admission to DVC athletic events
- discounts from many off campus businesses (list available in the student life office at the Pleasant Hill campus)
The sticker is issued through the student life office on the Pleasant Hill campus, and at the welcome desk (West Building lobby) on the San Ramon campus. The fee helps to fund student activities including club events, films, concerts, special athletic events, and campus enhancements. Fees are non-refundable.
A "combo special" which includes both the color ID and the ASDVC activity and discount sticker for $12 is available.
