Real Estate

The Diablo Valley College real estate certificate program is designed to prepare you for a variety of careers in real estate, to advance your career if you are already employed in the field, or to provide knowledge for you if you are a consumer/investor who would like to become better informed.

Possible career opportunities in real estate

There are many reasons to choose a career in real estate: set your own schedule, be your own boss, knowledgeably invest in properties, form relationships with other agents, and earn commissions from home sales.

The real estate market fluctuates according to current interest rates and other economic factors.  While the income of most real estate professionals is affected by these variables, a well-trained broker or salesperson can be highly successful.
