Carlos Avila is the Senior Lab Coordinator at the Science & Health Student Center, working with faculty and tutors to aid students and visitors alike. Having both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s in Business Administration has shaped the experience that he brings to the table. During his 10 years of education experience in middle school and high school, at public and private institutions, he has taught Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Anatomy. Combined with years of experience in Catering and the Food Industry, Carlos brings a unique approach to working with our community. His passion for dinosaurs is unmistakable—just peek at his Student Center workspace. A self-proclaimed geek with a love for anime, manga, and comics, he’s excited to bring that same enthusiasm to supporting students and helping them achieve their goals.
