Carmina Quirarte

Program Co-Lead, History

Carmina Quirarte is a History Faculty and the Department Lead at DVC. She has been teaching at the community college level for 13 years. She is involved in several committee groups throughout campus working alongside many of DVCs esteemed faculty and staff. 

She holds an M.A. in History from California State University, Fullerton and a B.A. in History and Mexican American Studies from San Diego State. Outside of her professional life, Carmina enjoys spending time with her family, travel, participate in community service, and mentoring youth.
