Christina McDade is a German instructor at Diablo Valley College, with a strong focus on immersive language education and German cinema. With her students at DVC, she has produced three short films in the past three years that have gone on to win multiple awards.
Christina’s academic career includes a double Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and German, as well as a Master’s degree in German, all from the University of Hawaii. She brings over 30 years of teaching experience and a deep commitment to her students to the classroom.
Some of Christina’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, singing, writing, chaperoning educational groups to Germany, taking courses in pursuit of her degree in film production, and making short films.
