David Hagerty

David Hagerty manages the Disability Support Services (DSS) office at DVC’s Pleasant Hill and San Ramon campuses. He has worked in community colleges and with disabled students for 23 years, 8 as manager at DVC. He holds a master’s degree in special education and a master’s of fine arts in creative writing. He is interested in the environment and has chaired DVC’s Sustainability Committee for several years. When not at work, he can be found hiking, biking, paddling, and sleeping in the woods.
