Matt Munday works as an international student counselor and Psychology professor at Diablo Valley College. He attended community college where he graduated with an AA in liberal arts and later completed his BA in Psychology from San Jose State University and his BA in Spanish from the University of Washington. He completed his graduate degree in counseling in 2003 from San Jose State University and has been counseling and teaching in colleges and universities for more than 20 years. Previous colleges and universities include the University of Washington, the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, City College of San Francisco, Chabot Community College, Ohlone Community College, and UC Berkeley. In addition to counseling, he often teaches Psychology in Modern Life, Developmental Psychology, General Psychology, Social Psychology, and a range of Counseling and Career classes. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends & family, traveling, reading, exercising, and cooking. A love for international travel has allowed him to visit close to 60 countries including study abroad programs in Peru, Costa Rica, Zambia, and Honduras.
