Patrick Moe is a professor of communication studies and department chair. He has been teaching in colleges and universities for more than 20 years. He holds a master’s degree in communication and bachelor’s degree in English literature, both from San Francisco State University.
Patrick is proud of his lifetime of involvement in speech and debate, including ten years as co-director of the DVC team. At DVC, he has previously served as the Academic Senate Vice President and the Chair of the College Council. He teaches in the First Year Experience Learning Community and is passionate about providing extra support to students as they transition into college. Patrick lives in San Francisco with his partner and cat.
