Join AANHPI & Friends for a night of fun, food, and fellowship as we come together and learn about the cultural significance of kava to the peoples of the Pacific Islands. The ancient practice of holding kava ceremonies has been at the center of community building throughout Pasifika from pre-colonial times to the modern day, and we are excited to bring that tradition here to DVC!
This event is open to anyone interested in experiencing Pacific Islander culture. So come as you are, come ready to unwind after a long week, and come with your instruments in tow if you'd like to join us for a Polynesian jam session!
