The Career & Transfer Center is hosting an On-Campus Job Fair & Handshake Activation, a collaborative event dedicated to strengthening campus employment and student career readiness.
This event serves as a central hub where students and campus departments can connect face-to-face. Whether departments are actively hiring now or planning for future semesters, this initiative helps build strong talent pipelines while giving students a clear path into campus work dynamics.
Event Highlights & Community Impact:
- Connecting Students & Departments: Students can explore both Federal Work-Study and non-work-study pathways, learn about current openings, and discover when upcoming positions will open.
- Building Future Pipelines: Departments - even those not currently hiring - have the opportunity to showcase their work, inform students about future opportunities, and mentor emerging student talent.
- On-Site Handshake Activation: Staff and peer advisors will be available to help students activate their Handshake accounts on the spot, unlocking immediate access to resume assistance, interview preparation, career workshops, and job listings.
