Chemistry Assessment

Learn about DVC's optional chemistry assessment process for students who have already completed chemistry courses.

Ethnic Studies

DVC does not yet offer an ethnic studies degree or certificate, but it does students prepare for upper level degrees in ethnic studies, social justice and LGBTQ studies.

Special Education

A special education certificate or degree prepares students to work as paraeducators/instructional assistants with individuals with special needs, covering disabilities, teaching strategies, psychology, and practical experience. This program

EOPS/CARE + CalWORKs & Foster Youth Services

EOPS/CARE, CalWORKs and START+NextUP are programs to help disadvantaged students overcome obstacles to their success in college. Each program is designed for students with specific needs/backgrounds.

Scholarships

Scholarships offer a great way to help pay for college! They do not need to be repaid, and are available to most students.
