CalWORKs is a program designed to help CalWORKs students at DVC complete the academic and career training they need to successfully move from welfare to work and become economically self-sufficient.

Mathematics

The DVC mathematics program provides a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and techniques, preparing students for transfer to a four-year university or careers in fields such as engineering, computer science, economics, and education.

Earn a wage while learning! DVC offers a five-year apprenticeship program in plumbing. Get hands-on training for an occupation that's always in demand.
