In November 2023, six students from DVC’s Chinese program entered the National Chinese Expo of Student Works. The objective of this event is to provide students with a platform to show their talents as well as their experience in learning the target language.

The College and Career Access Pathway for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (CCAP-STEM) Academy is a dual enrollment partnership between Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) and DVC, based at Ygnacio Valley High School. Students focused on entering an engineering pathway are able to earn college credits from DVC while in high school.
Diablo Valley College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.
