Early Childhood Education

DVC's Early Childhood Education program prepares students for rewarding careers in teaching and childcare through hands-on experience and professional training.

Dual Enrollment

DVC offers dual enrollment courses to high school students who are looking to get college-ready before graduating high school.

Horticulture

Start your horticulture career at DVC! Gain practical skills for roles like arborist, plant scientist, master grower, nursery and greenhouse manager or an entrepreneur in the arboriculture or cannabis industries. Earn certificates or transfer to a 4-year college.

MESA Program

The DVC Math, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program offers crucial support to students aiming to transfer to four-year institutions for STEM careers.

Puente Program

The Puente Program at DVC supports Mexican American and Latino students to succeed in college with counseling services, mentors, an educational plan and more.

Ethnic Studies

DVC does not yet offer an ethnic studies degree or certificate, but it does students prepare for upper level degrees in ethnic studies, social justice and LGBTQ studies.
