MESA Program

The DVC Math, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program offers crucial support to students aiming to transfer to four-year institutions for STEM careers.

Dual Enrollment

DVC offers dual enrollment courses to high school students who are looking to get college-ready before graduating high school.

Special Education

A special education certificate or degree prepares students to work as paraeducators/instructional assistants with individuals with special needs, covering disabilities, teaching strategies, psychology, and practical experience. This program

Puente Program

The Puente Program at DVC supports Mexican American and Latino students to succeed in college with counseling services, mentors, an educational plan and more.

Ethnic Studies

DVC does not yet offer an ethnic studies degree or certificate, but it does students prepare for upper level degrees in ethnic studies, social justice and LGBTQ studies.

High School Programs

In Diablo Valley College’s high school programs, high school students earn college credit early through concurrent enrollment, dual enrollment, Educational Talent Search, career academies, Diamante Scholars, and high school articulation.
