Financial Aid

At Diablo Valley College, we want to make sure that no student feels they cannot attend because of cost. There are many options available to students who need partial or full financial aid. The mission of the Financial Aid Office is to inform all students of financial aid programs and provide financial aid assistance to eligible students in a timely, professional, and supportive manner.

Covid-19 Emergency Grant

Are you facing unexpected expenses as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to remote classes and services? If so, you may be eligible for the COVID-19 Emergency Grant! Students enrolled for summer 2020 can apply for a one-time $500 grant to help with books, supplies, housing, food, transportation, technology needs, health care, child care and other costs. Don’t let a financial emergency keep you from completing your educational goals at DVC! Funds are limited! Apply now!

To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Financial Aid Office is closed until further notice and services are available remotely.  If you are a student and have questions about your financial aid status, you may contact our office by emailing us at financialaid@dvc.edu via your InSite email address .  You can also check your status by clicking on the Financial Aid tile on InSite.  The following online resources are also available 24/7 to get general information.
