University tours and transfer campus visits give DVC students the chance to explore a variety of four-year institutions, see their campuses firsthand and learn about academic programs, student life and transfer pathways. All logistics, such as transportation and lunch, are arranged for you.
How to Sign Up
- Choose a tour. Select a university you want to visit this semester.
- Complete the registration form. The full online form must be submitted to reserve your spot (form coming soon).
- Confirmation required. After registering, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm your seat. Only after confirmation is your spot secured.
- Attendance expectations. If you confirm and then do not attend, you may forfeit eligibility to sign up for another tour in that term.
- Waitlist policy. If a tour is full, you may join the waitlist. Be on the lookout for notifications about seat availability about one week before the trip.
Eligibility: Tours are typically open to current DVC students enrolled in at least 6 units (or as per DVC policy). Please check with the Transfer Center or Counseling Office for any updates or exceptions.
Each tour is usually an entire day and includes a campus walk-through, an admissions presentation, possible program/department meetings and lunch (or refreshments). If a specialized session is offered (e.g., a tour tailored to your major), it will be noted in the event details.
2025–2026 University Tour Schedule (Tentative)
