Students enrolled in the Addiction Studies Program can expect to take courses that will help them understand addiction and how to deal with issues surrounding addiction. Addiction studies courses include relapse prevention, dual disorders, diverse communities and social services, and more.
To see a complete list of the required courses, see the addiction studies section of our catalog.
All addiction studies students have the opportunity to take a course in field work that allows them to gain hands on experience in community clinics helping clients with substance abuse problems. Because of this, many students are able to volunteer or gain employment through these clinics after graduation.

Addiction studies courses are only taught at night as the majority of students are working adults.
