Ways to pay for college

At Diablo Valley College, we want to make sure that no student feels they cannot attend because of cost. There are many departments and special programs on campus that can help you find ways to pay for college. Learn more about these options and how you can qualify.

Apply for financial aid

Fill out the FASFA and learn more about the many financial aid options available to students. These can be need or non-need based.

See if you are eligible for CalWORKs

If you are a low-income, California resident, with at least one child under the age of 19, you may qualify for financial aid and other assistance.

Get a job on or off campus

A part-time job or paid internship is a great idea if you need additional aid or do not qualify for financial aid through the FASFA.

Apply for a paid internship

A paid internship will give you hands on experience in a field you are interested in while making extra money for tuition.

Find and apply for scholarships

Many scholarships are available for all students based on academics or other personal achievements and experiences.

Find out if you qualify for EOPS and CARE
