DVC offers an apprenticeship program in robotics.
Apprenticeship training programs are designed to prepare you for a career in a skilled craft or trade.
You will develop technical skills, share assignments, and get hands-on training on the topics you learn in your classes.
Important Information About Apprenticeship
- Apprentices earn a wage while learning.
- Enrollment in this program is restricted.
- You must be registered as an apprentice with the State of California and accepted into the apprenticeship program by our Union partners.
DVC’s robotics apprenticeship program prepares students for three industry-recognized, journey-level occupations in industrial automation and robotics. Registered apprentices can take DVC’s tuition-free courses to complete the instruction required for their chosen occupation. They also receive paid on-the-job training, which offers an entry point for people with little or no experience and gives current workers a chance to build their skills.
