Robotics Apprenticeship

DVC offers an apprenticeship program in robotics.

Apprenticeship training programs are designed to prepare you for a career in a skilled craft or trade.

You will develop technical skills, share assignments, and get hands-on training in the topics you are learning in your classes.

Important Information About Apprenticeship

  • Apprentices earn a wage while learning.
  • Enrollment in this program is restricted.
  • You must be registered as an apprentice with the State of California to participate in the program and accepted into the apprenticeship program by our Union partners.

DVC's Robotics Apprenticeship program prepares students for three industry-recognized, journey-level occupations in industrial automation and robotics. Registered apprentices will have the opportunity to participate in DVC’s tuition-free courses to complete the instruction for their chosen occupations. Additionally, paid on-the-job training (OJT) hours will offer a valuable entry point for individuals with little or no experience, while also providing incumbent workers the chance to enhance their skills.
