2021 DVC Academic Senate faculty lecturer shares some frameworks for mindfulness, social Justice, and capitalism

  • July 23, 2021

The 2021 DVC Academic Senate faculty lecturer, Eric Moss, shared some frameworks for mindfulness, social justice, and capitalism and described how the intersection of these frameworks forms a humanistic, sustainable, and pragmatic approach for our economic and social recovery.

While mindfulness, social justice, and capitalism may seem like “odd bedfellows,” there is an international movement, Conscious Capitalism, that combines these concepts (and a few others) into a different perspective of corporate social responsibility than is typically taught in business schools and practiced by most businesses worldwide.

The live event attracted the interest of over 50 people representing district-wide faculty, students, administrators, friends of DVC, and private industry professionals.
