Fitness Instruction and Personal Training

Diablo Valley College offers two exciting programs to prepare you for entry-level work in the fitness industry. Choose from a two-year associate of science degree in fitness instruction or a one-year personal training certificate of achievement.

Both programs will expose students to the many facets of the fitness industry and prepare you to obtain entry-level employment at a living wage as an effective wellness professional in today's fitness culture. If you want to be a personal trainer, you've come to the right place!
