Recent studies show that working adults and adult learners are seeking greater flexibility both at work and in the way they learn. At DVC, students can enroll in a growing number of degree or certificate programs offered fully online. This can make it easier to incorporate education into a busy schedule that includes work and family obligations.

Students interested in careers that combine art and technology can enroll in either the art digital media program or the film, television and electronic media (FTVE) program. Art digital media students can specialize in animation, game design, graphic design, and interaction design. FTVE students learn skills to prepare for careers in film, broadcasting, online media, and more.

The 4CD Business Pitch Competition invites students from across the Contra Costa Community College District (4CD)—including Diablo Valley College, Los Medanos College, and Contra Costa College—to bring their best business ideas to life. Guided by faculty, mentors, and local industry leaders, participants gain valuable experience developing, refining, and presenting their entrepreneurial visions.
