Up Close: The Aquatics Facility

DVC Aquatics Facility

The new aquatics facility was designed and equipped to help coaches, swim and water polo athletes both in and out of the water.

Along with a new Olympic-sized pool, locker rooms and team meeting rooms, two new on-deck classrooms were built equipped with well-integrated technology, creating a seamless learning experience from film review to practice in the pool.

Funded by the $450 million Measure E bond project that Contra Costa County voters passed in 2014, the new pool is expected to create a new hub for the local swimming community.

Visiting the Aquatics & Athletics Complex

The aquatics & athletics complex is located next to the art complex on the northeast corner of the Pleasant Hill campus. The best place to park is Lot 9, next to the tennis courts and the garden.
