Academic Proctoring Center

The Academic Proctoring Center (APC) is designed to be used by students who miss an exam due to unforeseen circumstances like an illness, family emergency, or school event.

Note: Faculty and students on the San Ramon campus, please visit SRC Academic Proctoring for information about how to submit tests and schedule appointments. Students with accommodations for a disability should contact Disability Support Services for instructions on how to set up your exam.

Testing Information

Student instructions

  • All students must have an appointment to test. Your instructor will provide you with a link to book an appointment once your test has been submitted.
  • You must bring a physical photo ID (driver's license, passport, ID card).  We do not honor a photo of your ID.
  • Review our Academic Proctoring Center Policies before your test.

Faculty: Steps to submit an exam

  1. Use our Test Submission Form to submit exam.
  2. You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your exam after submitting the form.
  3. Forward the email to your student, along with their deadline, so that they may make an appointment.*
  4. For any changes needed (extension of deadline, additional information, etc.) please email assessmentcenter@dvc.edu.

*We use an appointment system so that we have room and staffing for those using the center.  Please do not send your students to drop in.
