Under the direction of Welcome and Connect Services, Student Ambassadors provide valuable peer-to-peer assistance to future, current, and returning students and their families. They are chosen from a highly selective hiring committee to represent Diablo Valley College's unique and diverse student body. Student Ambassadors work in Welcome and Connect Services and the Enrollment Lab, conduct campus tours, represent DVC at various college fairs, and give presentations at high schools. Student Ambassadors provide insight into DVC from a student perspective by sharing their own experiences.
This fall semester we will be looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about Diablo Valley College and have a desire to provide peer-to-peer assistance to potential, new and continuing students. Positions will be available at the Pleasant Hill and San Ramon campuses.
Our hiring process is very competitive. It is highly recommended that you thoroughly review the Student Ambassador overview for specific information about the minimum requirements and commitment needed for the program. You will need to complete and submit a Student Ambassador application, as well as a one-page typed letter of interest explaining why you are interested in becoming a Student Ambassador. You will also need to be able to provide two references upon request.

Application: This form is required, along with a letter of interest (no more and no less than one typed page length) that addresses the reason for your interest in the position as well as your qualifications.
Reference Form: Two references are required (not from students or family members). At least one reference must be from a DVC employee or, if this is your first semester at DVC, from an employee of the high school you graduated from.
