Students majoring in film, television, and electronic media (FTVE) enter the film, television and media industries. We offer two pathways: "film and media studies" and "film and television production." Our film and media studies program prepares students for careers in the entertainment industry, law, business, and education, or for further education at the four-year college level.
Our hands-on film and television production program prepares students for a career with a film production company, social media, distribution, television news, entertainment law, and much more. Some careers require more than two years of study, and many of our students transfer to four-year film schools, while other careers require additional on-set experience.
We want students to succeed. The FTVE program is committed to offering students access to technology and support. While many of our courses are offered online, we encourage students to come to campus for hands-on support. Our facilities include three digital media labs and a state-of-the-art production studio.
