Jessica Barksdale Inclan, DVC professor of English, had another novel published in a mass market edition which came out September 6.
Intimate Beings (first published in October 2008) tells the story of Claire Edwards, a woman looking for love and who has an extraordinary secret ability -she can go anywhere at all, just by wishing it. And if the intensely attractive man who suddenly materializes in her car one day is any indication, Claire’s not the only one. . .
Barksdale Inclan’s debut novel, Her Daughter’s Eyes, published in 2001, was a final nominee for the YALSA Award for the best books of 2001 and best paperbacks for 2001. She is a 2002 recipient of the CAC Artist’s Fellowship in Literature, and has published 12 novels. Visit her website at www.jessicabarksdaleinclan.com
