DVC students excel at the 2021 CLTAC Chinese Speech Contest!

In March 2021, students from Diablo Valley College participated in the 45th Chinese Mandarin Speech Contest which was held virtually. The contest is hosted by The Chinese Language Teachers Association of California (CLTAC). CLTAC is the largest nonprofit association of its kind in the country with a mission to promote the study, teaching, and research of the Chinese language and culture on all educational levels. Its annual Mandarin Speech Contest boasts of a long history since 1960s.
DVC Speech and Debate Wins Gold at the Community College National Championships

This marks the best performance in the school’s history and the best performance on record for any Northern California team at the Phi Rho Pi National Championships. The tournament awards “Gold” award to the top two schools in each entry size category, putting Diablo Valley College (DVC) second overall in the Large School division.
The DVC Speech and Debate Team has won the California State Championships
