The District Budget Forums

Chancellor Helen Benjamin and Kindred Murillo visited DVC last Thursday to share the most current information that district has about the budget.

Budget Committee

The Budget Committee met last Friday morning to go over the details of the current budget projections. Later that afternoon President Garcia and Chris Leivas, vice president of finance administration, held a campus forum to discuss the same information with a broader campus audience.

The 11-12 budget deficit is projected to be approximately $5.2 million.

The Budget Committee will know more by March 1, and will be able to fine tune their projections.
