DVC Emergency Response
The DVC Campus Police are usually the first to respond to any campus emergency situation and can usually be at the location within a few minutes.
The DVC Safety Committee oversees the administration of the Safety Monitor Program. DVC managers assign and coordinate staff, and district police provide training for a college-wide Safety Monitor Program. This program provides designated campus employees with training and equipment so they may assist during an emergency response such as evacuations, shelter-in-place situations, or other emergencies.
