Industry Insights

DVC hosts the Industry Insights - Employer Engagement Series so students can connect with industry professionals they may not otherwise get to talk with about working for a specific company. 

The goal of these information sessions is to encourage students to explore and identify a career path and begin making industry connections.  Company representatives will join us for a 45-60 minute conversation to inform students about the benefits of working for their company.  Our presenters share their college and career journey, and answer questions related to their experience as a company employee.  They often talk about the importance of networking, and how you get noticed by HR.  If there are entry-level job or internship opportunities they will share those with attendees as well. 

These virtual information and networking sessions are open to all students within the Contra Costa Community College District and our neighboring high school partners.  You can learn more about each company by clicking on the company link.  Register early for the information sessions and don't forget to add these presentations to your calendar.
