| Marisol (she/her/hers) | Early Childhood Education | San Francisco State University | Hi , I'm Marisol. I've lived in the Bay Area all my life. This is my second year at DVC and I'm hoping to transfer to San Francisco State University next fall to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm hoping to become an elementary school teacher and teach 3rd graders. When I'm not working or studying you can find me reading a book or spending time with my family and friends. I have been enjoying my time here at DVC and I'm looking forward to helping students that stop by the Career and Transfer Center. |

I am currently entering my second year here at DVC with hopes of Transferring to UC Davis. My journey at DVC has been nothing short of amazing and awesome. Graduating out of High School I wasn't sure of where my life would lead me, but here I am, a Diamante Scholar/Puentista turned Peer Advisor at the Career and Transfer Center! I look forward to assisting anyone and everyone in the Transfer process or helping students find job opportunities outside or on campus. I'm excited to see where my life will drive me next in the future. |

Transfer Center. I have been a student here at Diablo Valley College for about two
semesters. My current major is Allied Health. I plan to complete my introductory classes,
and transfer to a four-year college. My career goal is to become a registered nurse.
I have loved the idea of helping others ever since I was little. In my free time,
when I'm not studying or at work, I enjoy spending time with my siblings, going on
walks and hikes, and spending time with my dogs. I hope to see you guys at the Career
& Transfer Center. |
| Christina (she/her/hers) | Psychology | UC Berkeley | Hey DVC, I’m Christina! I’m a native Californian, born and raised here in the San Francisco, Bay-Area. This is my first year at Diablo Valley College. Go Vikings! I'm a full-time college student majoring in Psychology. In my free time my hobbies include mindfulness meditation, large jigsaw puzzles and soothing whimsical notes from my Pan Flute. I'm excited to be a Peer Advisor at DVC’s Career and Transfer Center. At the Career & Transfer Center we provide support to DVC students and alumni with answers to career explorations and college transfer questions. Come by the center, feel free to stop in, there are wonderful resources to assist you while on your college journey. |
