Diablo Valley College Speech and Debate (forensics) is well on their way to another successful season as the team adjusts to the changes brought on by COVID-19. Despite having to adapt to the move to online competition, the team hasn’t missed a beat through the early going of the 2020-2021 season.

DVC had a historic run at the California Community College Forensics Association (CCCFA) State Championships March 14-17, 2019 in Woodland Hills, CA. We placed second as a team, a personal best for DVC!
Northern California Forensics Association first place overall champions

Over the last three years the DVC's speech and debate team (also known as forensics) has become the most dominant team in northern California. Recently the 40+ person team won their third consecutive NCFA Championship, crowning DVC the undisputed champions of NorCal.
