They are also working to formalize the coordination of the co-chairs for DVC’s four governance committees: the Budget Committee, Integration Council and Institutional Planning Council. IC is also working with the Faculty Senate Program Review Task Force to continue to streamline and improve the program review reading and ranking process.

In addition, the BC is beginning work on the 2014 -15 annual budget plan which will be based on available funds, prioritized program reviews, college wide plans and district and state mandates.

The new version of the template will incorporate suggestions from the three committees who used it last year in writing new plans (Technology Plan, Developmental Education Plan, and Professional Development Plan).

IPC will work with other governance committees to enhance integrated planning at the college in alignment with the new strategic plan as part of continuous improvement. In an effort to monitor the progress of the Strategic Plan and other college wide plans, IPC will develop an evaluation process to inform the College Council and community of college planning progress.
