The Cyber Security (Patriot) Career Academy is designed to excite students about cybersecurity career opportunities and the importance of cyber defense skills through hands-on instruction and activities. The Air Force Association (AFA) Cyber Camp will culminate in an exciting final team competition that simulates real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals and mimics AFA's Cyber Patriot National Youth Defense Competition. Interested students must complete all required forms below AND register for either CNT-150CS-1289 (Intro) and/or CNT-150DN-1290 (Advanced)
Students can also register for our other Introductory Cyber Security (Patriot) Career Academy, CNT-150CE, which will be hosted on our San Ramon Campus; however it will not be for college credit. Either Intro course will qualify a student to take the Advanced course.
Introductory: June 24 - 28, 2019 - Pleasant Hill Campus
Introductory (Not for Credit): June 10 - 14, 2019 - San Ramon Campus
Advanced: July 29 - Aug. 2, 2019 - Pleasant Hill Campus
Note: Students must attend and pass the introductory academy first before they can participate in the advanced level academy. CNT-150CE (Intro) is NOT for college credit; however, will qualify as a prerequisite for CNT-150DN-1290 (Advanced)
All students who attended the Cyber camp and/or cyber patriot competition last year can enroll in the advanced academy this year.
